• Designed specifically for use with KitchenAid® and JennAir® downdraft cooktop recirculation kits, this Whirlpool charcoal filter supports proper ventilation and filtration performance. Its compatible design allows the filter to work with the intended recirculation system, helping maintain effective odour removal during everyday cooking without requiring an external ventilation connection.
• Whirlpool charcoal filter helps neutralize unwanted cooking odours as air passes through the downdraft ventilation system. Designed for recirculating applications, it reduces lingering smells from frying, sautéing, and everyday meal preparation, helping maintain fresher kitchen air while supporting a more comfortable cooking environment throughout your home.
• Activated charcoal binds and traps odour particles from cooking vapours, helping reduce unwanted smells before air is recirculated into your kitchen. This filtration process supports effective odour control during everyday cooking, making it easier to maintain a pleasant kitchen environment without relying on an external exhaust vent.
• The convenient design allows the charcoal filter to be replaced directly from above through the cooktop's air inlet opening, without requiring additional tools. This accessible replacement process simplifies routine maintenance, allowing you to remove the existing filter and install a new one quickly while keeping your downdraft ventilation system operating effectively.
• Replace the charcoal filter every 150 operating hours or six months, whichever comes first, to maintain optimal filtration performance. Following this recommended replacement schedule helps ensure effective odour removal, supports consistent downdraft ventilation, and keeps your KitchenAid® or JennAir® recirculation system ready for everyday cooking and meal preparation.
